Ahlan wa sahlan! For those of you who do not speak Arabic, "ahlan wa sahlan" means "welcome."
On August 17, I will arrive in the Palestinian city of Ramallah to begin my new job teaching English, ethics and developing and coordinating an arts, literacy and community service based after-school program at the Ramallah Friends School. I will primarily be working with students at the lower school (grades K-6), although I certainly hope to get some upper school students involved with the after-school programs!
This blog will document my experiences living and working in the West Bank. I hope that you willl join me on this journey!
